Dailycer

The story of Dailycer France unfolds across six key milestones, marking its evolution from a French pioneer to an international leader in breakfast cereals.

The story of Dailycer France

The beginnings: 1983

Establishment of the first independent French factory dedicated to breakfast cereals in Faverolles, Picardy, producing corn flakes and honey puffed wheat.

The 1990s

Diversification and development of private label brands.

Development of new technologies and recipes to meet the growing demand from private label customers.

The factory grew from a single production unit in 1983 to five units by 1999. Dailycer France then produced the full range of breakfast cereals, introducing Multi-Flakes, Crunchy Muesli, extrusion, co-extrusion, and snacking product lines.

This growth was accompanied by several extensions dedicated to production, flow management, logistics, as well as office and technical infrastructure.

The 2000s

The site reached a significant scale, supported by major investments. Dailycer France expanded into export markets, distributing its products from Scandinavia to Australia.

An industrial restructuring enabled Dailycer France to increase its production capacity and meet rapidly growing demand.

This development was further strengthened by the attainment of several certifications (IFS, BRC, ISO 14001), reinforcing its commitments to food safety, quality management systems, and environmental management.

The 2010s

The site underwent a period of major transformation:

  • A complete overhaul of the product range to meet market requirements and promote healthier nutritional values.
  • Significant investments were made to upgrade production capacity and adopt the latest production and packaging technologies.

In 2016, Dailycer France joined a European agri-food group with family and industrial ownership, guided by a long-term vision, fostering stability and resilience in the face of current and future challenges in the breakfast cereal category.

The early 2020s

After the COVID years, the inflation period, and the increasing intensity of climate and systemic crises directly or indirectly impacting the agri-food sector—and breakfast cereals in particular—Dailycer France has continued its development with a strong commitment to building resilience and strengthening its leadership in the market.

During this challenging period, Dailycer France has stood out for its strong ability to adapt and remain flexible, as well as its constant search for solutions to ensure an optimal service level for all its customers.

Today

In 2023, the site invested €42 million in state-of-the-art technologies for automated storage, automated flow management, and the renewal of its industrial infrastructure.

Today, Dailycer France is proud of its 400 employees who give their best every day to share their passion for cereals with millions of consumers around the world.
